In 1993 I fractured several bones in my right foot. Due to lack of proper medical treatment, it did not heal correctly and I developed scar tissue which greatly impeded the circulation in my foot. The foot was always swollen, and I could not stand to walk on it very long without experiencing a lot of pain.
